Theme Card: Four of Cups
The theme here is apathy. We’re hopeful for a result that is failing to manifest, and despite the simple opportunity in front of us, we’re focused on what we can’t have.
This seems to me like a struggle near the highs or a failed breakout. Interestingly enough, this card is bullish historically, so maybe it’s a case of churning price action that feels unsatisfactory.
Last week we had the King of Swords, which I said should have completed the series. Now we get a four, which could be the early phase of a new start. Let’s see.
Monday: The Hierophant
This guy prefers structure, tradition, and simplicity. He doesn’t like to break outside the norms or take excessive risks. He does tend to keep things on the green side of the chart, but it’s often a slow grind rather than an impulsive rally.
This feels like a day to buy dips, if we get them, but expect to close flat or near it. If we close green, consider it a blessing.
Tuesday: Page of Wands
Pages are supposed to bring new starts, but looking at the data I see that this one prefers continuation to mean reversion. This is interesting because it means if Monday is positive, we may continue heading upward.
He is more often bullish than bearish, but his moves are impulsive, so you should be prepared for a bumpy ride that runs out of steam after lunch.
Wednesday: Page of Swords
